Endophytic fungi inhabit the internal tissues of healthy plants without causing visible symptoms and engage in close interactions with their hosts. They are known to produce diverse secondary metabolites with potential pharmaceutical and industrial applications. This study reports two unrecorded endophytic fungal species isolated from the leaves of woody plants Stephanandra incisa and Celtis sinensis. Morphological characteristics and phylogenetic relationships were analyzed based on molecular data. These findings contribute to the expansion of fungal biodiversity in Korea and provide a basis for further studies on the taxonomy and ecological distribution of these taxa.
