Mycobiology is an international peer-reviewed journal published bimonthly as the official journal of The Korean Society of Mycology. The journal is dedicated to publishing high-quality fundamental and applied research in all areas of mycology and related disciplines.
Mycobiology publishes original research on fungi and fungus-like organisms, including yeasts, filamentous fungi, lichen-forming fungi, oomycetes, moulds, and mushrooms. Its scope encompasses a broad range of topics, including molecular and cellular biology, biochemistry, metabolism, developmental biology, environmental mycology, evolution, ecology, taxonomy and systematics, genetics and genomics, fungal pathogens and disease control, physiology, and industrial biotechnology involving fungi.
