The Entoloma sensu lato (Entolomataceae, Basidiomycota) is one of the largest genera in gilled Agaricomycetes and it represented by about 1,500 species worldwide. This genus is highly variable in terms of morphology and well-characterized by their angled basidiospores with an internal skeleton of connected ribs. During a survey of Korean mushroom flora, two new Entoloma species were discovered. These species were clearly distinct from each related Entoloma species based on macro- and micro-morphological features and fungal DNA marker (internal transcribed spacer of rDNA region).
